Gemma Johnson is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years’ experience across oncology, palliative care, and clinical research. Her career includes senior roles with Cancer Research UK, Macmillan Cancer Support, and the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre.

 

She has supported patients and families throughout complex cancer and end-of-life journeys, contributing to nurse-led services, policy development, and multidisciplinary care across local and regional settings.

 

Drawing on this extensive clinical experience, Gemma provides independent, evidence-based expert witness reports on standards of nursing care, clinical decision-making, and the assessment and provision of care needs for individuals with cancer or terminal illness.

 

Gemma has enhanced her medico-legal practice through completion of the Basics of Report Writing (2024) course and brings a balanced, professional, and compassionate approach to all expert instructions.
